Hello Everyone,
Another post today! Well I thought I best
make up for it since I haven’t written one in like a month.
So last month was very exciting 5 seconds of
Summer FINALLY released their debut album “5 Seconds Of Summer” original. The
album was released
by Capitol Records on 27 June 2014 in Europe
and on 22 July 2014 in the United States, Mexico and Canada. It contains 12
songs including singles such as; She Look So Perfect, Don’t Stop and Amnesia.
The 4 member Australian “Punk Rock” band
members Luke Hemmings (Guitar, Vocals), Michael Clifford(Guitar, Vocals),
Ashton Irwin(Drums, Vocals) and Calum Hood(Bass Guitar, Vocals) have taken the
world by storm! They were lucky enough to tour with One Direction on both their
Take Me Home tour and the UK and Ireland leg of their Where We Are tour which
is incredibly exciting and helpful with getting their name out there.
The
album is absolutely amazing I personally love it A LOT. With a mix of slower
songs filled with emotion to fast upbeat more rocky songs about well... sex. I’ve had their album on repeat since I got it;
it’s truly excellent they have really worked hard to get it perfect and that
they have done.
I
was lucky enough to see them live when I saw One Direction in May this year
before their album came out it was the first time I had properly heard of them
I knew Heartbreak girl from Youtube and She Looks So Perfect had recently been
released and I knew from the moment I saw Luke Hemmings face that I would grow
to love them and that I have done. I now consider 5SOS up there in my top 5
favourite bands!
5
seconds of summer are embarking on their first solo tour in 2015 “Rock Out With
Your Socks Out” which is a much more creative title than their album I must
admit. So I’m SUPER excited for that!
If
you haven’t purchased the Album, bought a ticket to see them or ever heard of
them you defiantly need to change that! They’re very very good and deserve fame
as they’re talented passionate artists with very nice faces.
Incase
you don’t believe me that 5 Seconds of Summer are the next big thing! I asked
my friends in real life and people I’ve met through Instagram why they love 5sos here’s what they said:
5sos are one
of my favourite bands because I love their upbeat music and them as people. My
favourite member is Luke Hemmings because he has a amazing voice and an amazing
face and amazing legs, plus he seems really nice. I also like Callum because I
look abit like him and I can sympathise with people thinking he's Asian. I love
their new album so much, my favourite songs are 18 and heartbreak girl. I also
really like amnesia because it really shows off Lukes vocals and it's like 'You
and I' by one direction which I also love a lot!!

I love 5sos,
after 1D they are my favourite band. My favourite member is Luke Hemmings-it
may be the obvious choice but he genuinely is my fave. I think his voice is
amazing and I love watching interviews with him as I think he is really funny
and down to earth. The album is absolute heaven. Every single song is amazing and
I could literally listen to it all day. My favourite song on the album is
English Love Affair and I also love Try Hard even though it's not on the album
I really love it.

I like their
well known songs such as Amnesia and She Looks so perfect, I haven’t listened
to their album. My favourite member is Luke because he’s really hot.

I
first found out about 5sos from their She Looks So perfect music video. I
remember thinking that it was a video with a good message and that the band had
talent. I then saw them pop up on my tumblr dashboard quite a bit so I
downloaded their first ep and learnt a bit more about the band members. I wasn’t
sure about whether or not I liked the band because while their songs were catchy,
they had toured with one direction and I didn’t like them or the associations
with pop music. I’m definitely more into rock music while 5sos say they are pop
punk their really not. But I told myself to get down from my cloud and that I
was allowed to like any music I wanted too no matter how mainstream it is. (Plus
most of my friends liked them and it’s nice to talk to them about band members who
aren’t one direction.) Saying that, my favourite member is definitely Mikey
because he is the most punk out of the band and while he may not be the most
conventionally attractive I do think he’s cute and I really like how he changes
his hair colour so often.

I asked
a couple of my friends on Instagram who I have made due to bands such as 5
Seconds of Summer and The Vamps. I think that is amazing how a band can bring
people together @bradsdiamonds lives in America and we talk almost daily. Bands save
lives, bring people together and spread joy and that in itself is truly
magical.
A good
band save fans, good fans save bands.
Well I
had loved them since the start. They had helped me so much and without them I
would be an emotional wreck. I love their album because it’s seriously amazing.
Every song in the album is so inspirational. I can’t choose a favourite member
but if I had to it’d be Ashton, because I know what he’s been through, he is so
nice (like all of them) and I absolutely love drummers and he has some fricking
cute hair! Saying that I love them all so much, they’ll never know that.

I love
5sos because their music is great and they make me happy. That band saved me. I
would not have a life without them. When I feel sad I could look at pictures of
them, listen to their music and read their tweets and their different to other
people and I love different. I love their album because I can relate things to
their lyrics and it makes me incredibly proud of how far they have come. My
favourite members are Luke and Ash. Luke:
He’s perfect and he cares about people. His personality is like mine. That’s
what attracts me to him and he’s weird and has a perfect voice. Ash: He’s strong
as he’s gone through a lot and I think he needs support. He’s good at drumming
and a good person. He’s adorb. I just love him so much. He needs someone who
cares! Also his personality is kinda like mine.

I don’t
have a favourite because I can’t f*king choose. I love 5sos because they always
have our backs. They interact with us as if we really are a part of a family.
Most importantly, they saved my life. They always bring smiles to our faces
even if they are doing the most useless sh*t and they have GREAT music taste
and great music themselves.

5sos because they are so cute and they are so sweet and funny and they have great songs! This is defiantly a bonus. I remember
the first time I heard them I thought “I’m never going to like them their
weird.” And now I’m in love with them!

The reason I love 5 Seconds of Summer is because
they are great humans who brought great humans into my life. I now have friends
all across the world who I can tell my secrets and rant to them knowing that no
one will ever find out. Of course they are nice to look at and create great
music but they are so much more than that. They have saved lives. They are
showing that you don’t have to have mainstream pop music to do well. They
promote dreams. Luke is only 18 and he’s travelling the word doing what he
loves with people he loves. He has taught me to go after what you want and don’t
let anyone stop you. I never knew 4
people would have such a big impact on people all across the world. Ashton
Irwin is my favourite because when he’s up on stage playing his drums you can
see the pure happiness in his smile, the passion in every hit of the drum. When
he’s up on his drums looking upon his fellow band mates and brothers you can see how proud
he is and how proud we all are of him.
