Easy DIY | How To Make New Friends

So it's been half term and my plan was to sleep the entire time and well.. that did not happened. In fact I'm actually sleep deprived and I'm just going to type and hope for the best so if this makes no sense well, that's life. Build a bridge.
This post - like most of my posts are going to be heavily photo based- #APhotospeaksAThousandWords
It's been half term so naturally i've been drown in work and just tread water for a bit and not really done anything about it. Instead I made friends and took photos. Sounds 10x better than writing essays and crying.
I attended a 5SOS fan meet up yesterday and met some awesome people (they know who they are and they better be reading this) so thank you very much to Kendall and Yaqeen for organising that I had a blast and gained like 20 twitter followers! It was so wonderful to see so many people up for it and having a good time. We laughed until we cried, sang, took stupid selfies and just messed about with new people. I loved it so much and can't wait for the summer one.

We also made some "friends" at the MAC Music Tour on Monday and had a mini photo shoot which was wonderful. Met up with them a couple of times after which was cute.

I filmed a short film with Ellie and Sam, if I have their permission I'll post that. The only other thing I did was take photos for my uni portfolio and dance to One Direction songs.

Too much hair. Not enough Face.

Also make sure you check out Amy and Emily's Youtube channel, they vlogged both the Mac Music Tour and the 5sos meet up. I am in a couple of videos and there is plenty more to come!
Hope you enjoyed this random photo based post, I love you lots stay beautiful.

A Simple Question | What do you love?

For me, it's taking photos.
If I see a moment worth capturing, I'm going to capture it.
I have laid on one too many floors, stood on one too many tables, just to get the perfect photo.
I know I'm taking a dumb photo so why should I let anyone stop me?
I know I'm not a professional photographer but who cares?
I don't let that stop me either.
I don't let anything stop me.
I do it because I love it.
Look around you.
There is beauty everywhere.
Close by or way out into the distance.
There is beauty all around us, and it all has a different angle.
I have a simple question for you.
What do you love and why should you let anyone stop you from doing it?
Take a moment.
Treasure it.
Think about what you love.
Try something new.
And don't let anyone stop you.

January Favourites | 2015

Where on earth has January actually gone? I feel like only 5 minutes ago I was thinking of my new years resolutions and now, a month in I can't even remember what they were to begin with.  I haven't really done much this month, being January and all, everyone is poor after Christmas and the cold weather makes it virtually impossible to get out of bed. Hence the reason why I don't have a list a mile long of things I've been loving, it's only the beginning people.

I am going to start off my talking about all things beauty, I only have a couple of things to talk about as I haven't really tried a lot of new things but I have a couple.

This mascara was actually such a random purchase, I needed to buy something else so I could pay on my card and honestly I am so glad I did. This is the "Fabulous Lash - Lash Building" mascara by Miss Sporty and was about £3 and I have been recommending it to everyone I know. The curved brush makes my lashes look extended and naturally curved, whilst the actual mascara liquid stuff makes my lashes just the right amount of clump -if that makes any sense- I just love it, its amazing especially for the bottom lashes! Go out and buy it, it's £3 what have you got to lose.

Of course I couldn't do a favourites without including my beautiful Naked Palette, this thing is the best. I have the 2nd one because I love the colours. I could rave about this product for so long but a lot of other -a lot more professional than me- beauty bloggers have talked about them so you can go and read them. I have been using this everyday for school and nightwear it's just a beautiful palette and I love it a lot.

I recently got sent this hand cream its from a brand called "Yes! Nurse"  this hand cream is a very special hand cream, as its not only a very good product that leaves your hands very soft and moistured (if that's a word) they have actually partnered with Breast Cancer Research Uk to raise money. Hence why the product is priced at £8.49 for 50ml Tube and includes a  Super Sleeve Cotton Cover and I honestly believe it is worth it. From using it a couple of times it is clear that it is a high end product and you get a lot for your money, plus it supports a very special cause.

Throwing in a random favourite of the month this notebook from Urban Outfitters £6 I have been using this as a way to jot down all the positive things I have experienced throughout the day, as a nice way to reflect on my day and something to look back on at the end of the year. As well as my grand plans for the year to come, with my bucket list on the very first place and a tally chart of how many times I've been to the gym to make it visual and motivate me to keep going.

I have a couple of things I have been loving this month that I can't photograph which have been things that have been improving my life, prime example being a healthy lifestyle. From smoothies to the gym I have loved getting active and feeling healthy. I have also been loving all things blog, from talking to bloggers, sharing my blog, spending weekends planning, photographing and writing to sharing my posts with the world. One of my bucket list things is to "Improve my blog game" and I feel like I am on the way to achieving this goal.

To finish off my January favourites I have a couple of fashion things I have been loving this month.
Anyone who knows me knows I much prefer a backpack to a handbag because I often carry a lot of stuff and a back pack is lot lighter. That being said I wore my previous Roxy bag to DEATH and it needed to go! So I bought myself this one from Tk Max -the brand Hype- for only £15 which is honestly such a bargain. I love the colours and how sturdy it is hopefully it'll last me a while.

Finally, my outfit of the month has been:

  • Levi Denim Jacket - Urban Outfitters £55
  • Plaid shirt - Sainsburys £22
  • Leggings - H&M £6
  • Timberland Boots - Office £130

I have loved this outfit and these items separately because they create such a casual look that I think Is quite flattering for an everyday look.

  • Yes! Nurse Hand cream £8.49
  • Note book - Urban outfitters £6
