Beauty Haul

You may or may not know that it was my birthday not so long ago, if you read my blog then you probably should know. For my birthday I got a fair share of money so I decided to spend quite a portion on it, on something I love. Make up. In an attempt to justify myself, there was a 3 for 2 offer on Maybelline and I couldn't turn that down.
I have been using the same make up for as long as I can remember and I really wanted to change it up a bit, I wasn't planning on getting as much but I got carried away by all the beautiful things that I never knew I wanted but always needed.

I want to take a brief moment to tell you all that my friend Hannah-Mae has recently picked her blog back up and is getting ready to blog the summer, it would mean a lot to both of us if you could check it out. LINK - hannahmae27.blogspot.co.uk

Starting with something I had no intention of buying but very happy with the purchase, blusher. The blusher I had previously is a very bright pink and I was struggling to find any eye/lip look that matched, due to it being so bright so when I saw this light pale colour I had to have it.

62 Rosewood £5.19

I made the executive decision to improve my eyebrow game. At 18 years of age there is no room for weak brows. I decided that my Rimmel pencil had seen better days and instead of repurchasing the same pencil that sometimes goes ginger and doesnt match my hair I thought I would finally venture out into the world of - eyebrow kits. I decided instead of throwing myself into the deep end with a Benefit one I bought a cheaper version by Collection. In this brow kit there is 3 colours, a small applicator and a clear brow mascara to set your brows.
You never know, one day I might buy benefits brow kit, but that day is not today.

£3.98

Along with a strong eyebrow game, we all need and want a strong contour game and my old bronzer and light powder just wasn't cutting it anymore, I just couldn't make it work. So I decided to delve into a the world of contour kits. This w7 one looked perfect as I am just a beginner and again don't trust myself with high end products just yet.

Catwalk Face Shaper £4.99

Mascara. We all use it, they all dry out. So I got a new one.

Essence £2.80
My skin has been really bad recently and to me it's really been showing through my foundation as it isn't sitting as well as it used to. In an attempt to save this,  I decided to try a "bluring" primer to help my make up sit on my skin better. This Maybelline Baby Skin one promises to prime and blur the skin hiding pores etc which sounds very promising. I'll report back.

Warm Apricot £7.99

I bought a grey nail varnish the other day but it turned out to be more lilacy and I was really unsatisfied so I decided to buy another one from Maybelline so that I could hopefully have grey nails.

328 Sidewalk Strut £2.99

Something that I am so excited to finally have in my make up collection is one of Kate Moss' Rimmel lipsticks, I have heard nothing but good things about these lipsticks so I decided to pick one up. I'm going to admit something to you guys that I am ashamed of. I don't wear lipsticks. I just forget about them and then when I do wear them I regret it and have to take it off. So, to try and conquer this I decided to go with a pale nude lipstick to ease my way into the lipstick party.

03 Rosette Rouge

The last 3 things are re-purchases cause although I love experimenting and trying new things, the products I use religiously won't be changed any time soon.

The first repurchase  is my foundation, I have previously tried Rimmel's wake me up and personally I don't like it that much, the concealer is definitely better. But I do love the Match perfection foundation, it's a holy grail product for me, it has such good coverage and the colour match truly is perfection.

200 Soft Beige

This may not come as a surprise to anyone that I love collections concealer as I feel like everyone should. I have nothing more to say but the fact it's amazing, as I mentioned earlier I have bad skin at the moment and this coverage is exactly what I needed and it matches my foundation super well.

3 Warm Medium

The final product I picked up was a liquid eyeliner. Eyeliner is something I honestly couldn't live without, with that in mind I go through a lot of them. I am constantly trying different ones. I came across this one quite a while ago and when looking through the make up stands I found it again. I couldn't not pick it up and begin to use it again. The narrow pointed tip makes it so easy to apply, even if you aren't very skilled in the eyeliner department it is so easy. Also I like a very black liner and this deep black is perfect. I am going to be real with you guys, although it has many positives there is one major negative. It smudges onto your lid. I hate to admit it but it really does and it makes me sad.

01 Deep Black
I am so excited to use all these products as I have basically re-vamped my entire everyday make up collection and there is nothing better than fresh new make up. Don't argue with me on this one.
I hope you enjoyed this little haul type post, everything was too pretty I couldn't not share it with you. Don't forget to head over to Hannah's blog. Hannahmae27.blogspot.co.uk
