After the success of our Halloween party we (my house and I) jumped at the opportunity to hold another party, and what better excuse than a Christmas party. Combining 2 things we love - festivities and alcohol.
Being students we couldn't afford to splash out of the ice sculpture Jas wanted but we did the best we could by borrowing Josh's mums Christmas decorations and hitting Poundland to try and find the best fake snow we could find. It was November after all.
Saturday 26th November rolled around and it was time to get festive. We got to decorating in the short couple of hours we had, frantically throwing tinsel and fake snow around the place praying it would look like some sort of weird, cheap, student winter wonderland.
I had such a wonderful time and it was a perfect break from the stress of assignment season. We played games, danced like idiots and just had a good old festive boogy - weird word choice but cool lets go with it.
I hope everyone who attended had a good time (even if it did end in disaster)
We're already planning our next one. I know, I hate us too.
Merry Christmas from 62 xox
