September

Hey guys I feel like it's been such a long time since I sat down and wrote so I'm gonna fill you in on what's been going on in my life.
I finally moved to Leeds and have been living the freshers life. It feels so weird to be living away from home, cooking and cleaning for myself. That being said I am really enjoying it, my rooms cosy but my bed is a bad uncomfy time, plus i've met some amazing people and its only been 4 days!
I start my studies officially on Monday and I am so excited to get started and stuck in with my course (film and TV production). I have been learning lots about my course and from the sound of it I'm going to love it, they even told me that next year I can do a module about Disney! Where do I sign up?!
I don't have anything really planned for the rest of the month apart from university BUT next month is super busy as i'll be stuck into my course and  I have Vamps, One Direction and will be meeting Tyler Oakley!!! Soooo they'll be lots of posts coming up I just wanted to check in and let you guys know what I'm up to.
Enjoy the rest of your week and we'll speak again soon x

Pleasure Beach

On the second day of the trip (check out last post for first day) the gang decided to head to pleasure beach as we are all major "thrill seekers" and wanted to ride the Pepsi Max over and over again.
During the day we did exciting things like rode the rides, met the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, lived Amy's dream by going on the Wallace and Gromit ride and we ate chips from a bucket.
I had never been to pleasure beach but I did really enjoy it and would go again!

Blackpool | Ifest

So you may know if you follow me on my social media that I took a trip to Blackpool with my two friends Amy Clarke and Emily Hutchinson. After a long day of travelling which consisted of a mega bus and 2 trains we finally made it to the sea side resort of Blackpool. We went straight to our hotel (The Butterfly B&B) dumped our stuff, re-did our eyebrows and headed out the door to Blackpool tower to Ifest!

Once we arrived at the venue we forced our way to our friends (Amy, Amy, Chelsea and Yasmin) who had been queueing since 10am so they were right at the front, lucky for us. Unfortunately we frantically ran for no reason as we missed out on barrier by an inch but we were only one person away from barrier so it was still a great time.

Ifest was a gig to kick off the Blackpool Illuminations so there was an array of artists performing from; Jack Walton to Professor Green and The Vamps there was someone to cater for everyone and lucky for me I liked everyone. I mean Gabz and Jedward even joined the party. What's not to love?

About half way through the gig Brad and Tris decided it would be a funny joke to come out on stage and say hello. Safe to say I wasn't laughing, I nearly had a heart attack.

Speaking of The Vamps they were utterly incredible per the norm even if they only sang their "hits" it was still a great time as a majority of the crowd including us had came to see them.
It was so nice the see the boys again I didn't realise how much I had missed them until they came on stage and I heard the first few notes of Somebody to you the tears started rolling off my face and the next thing I knew I was crying into Amy's arms.
Jess saw brad and started crying. What's new?

I thoroughly enjoyed Ifest and I was surprised at the quality of the acts Jedward and Only the young were so surprisingly good and of course Pro Green and Lawson slayed as per. Oh and did I mention I fulfilled my life dream as I witnessed Toploader performing Dancing in the moonlight. Yeah I wasn't ok.

How could we forget about the main reason ifest even occurred: The Blackpool Illuminations! Tim Burton himself turned hit the switch that lit up the town. I'm still confused as to why he had a claw.

I'll leave you with some photos from the gig!

I didn't get many photos of The Vamps due to the fact my phone was on 8% and i've seen them before.

August

So summer is nearly over and autumn is coming and honestly it's going to be a good time. Autumn is my favourite time of the whole year so I am very excited for that. Annnnyway this isn't about autumn this is about summer and the photos I have been taking over the past month.
I am going to be doing a "my month in photos" type post today!
I have starting using my camera more and more and have really enjoyed it. I am trying to learn new photography and editing skills so some of these photos are a little different.

I haven't done that much this month as I have just been spending every waking moment relaxing, watching YouTube or Once Upon a Time. I have been spending so much time in the house just sleeping and taking time to myself as I am conserving all my energy for University as I already know how hectic its going to be.

This month was a good time for my Vamps/Internet friends, I met up with them quite a few times and its been such a good time, and in a few days Amy Clarke is coming over from Ireland and we along with (Emily Hutchinson) are going for a weekend away in Blackpool. It's so nice to see these girls I wish it would happen everyday!

This month I was lucky enough to meet the band Hometown and I had the best time. Myself, Laura, Emily W, Emily H, Emily Fraser, Abbie Cherry and a few others all had the best time. We went to two of their new Where I Belong EP signings (Sunderland and Gateshead) then we headed to the Airport and chilled with them for about an hour before they caught their plane! Hometown are the nicest lads ever and I love them lots, make sure you check them out!!
Here's a couple of my favourite photos with Cayl.

Nothing else really happened apart from my trip to Alnwick castle but I think we're all bored of me talking about that since it was my last post. I hope you had a good month and are ready for going back to school!

Snow White | Photography

For the past couple of days myself and Laura have been completely Disney obsessed! From watching Disney films, Disneyworld YouTube videos and we even went to the cinema to see Inside out even though I've already seen it (great film, I recommend it). Turns out our Disney obsession carried through into these photos as they turned out some what Snow White inspired, with the forest, red coat and short dark hair.
