Beach Walk ft Amy Wilson | Photography

You may know my friend Amy Wilson. Brown hair, tall, pretty, often takes selfies with me? You familiar? Well she happens to have a nice face and we were at the beach taking photos for her art when I decided I would take photos of her face and capture her beauty in photographic form. So that's exactly what I did.

Amy and I have been friends for a little over 9 years now so she's pretty comfortable with me... I think. So she didn't mind me taking photos of her as she knows I was just going to do it anyway.

If you have been reading my blog for like 3 months or something you will know I enjoy walking to clear my head and to take pictures well this was no different, after a long day of sixth form walking along the beach acting like weirdos taking photos, singing and talking in weird accents was exactly what I needed.

In the editing process I decided to mess about and try different effects and I am really happy with them. Much thanks to amy. Twitter/Instagram amy_wilson12 (links there)

P.s as I'm writing this on 12/04/2015 James Daniel McVey from The Vamps just liked my photo on instagram and I am shaking and internally having a breakdown.

March | 2015

So I did one of these last month and I really enjoyed it, I realise it's quite a few days into April but I haven't had much time. Over March and the days of April we have had so far I have had my nose stuck into books being drown in revision and coursework but I am having a break to write and de stress as I haven't been very well the past couple of days. Ok enough of the excuses lets talk about the past.

As we all know I have an obsession with Music and March was no different. I have been listening to new and old music, by old I mean Jonas Brothers.
Last month I did individual songs but this month it hasn't been that simple so I'm going to do albums i've listened to so much music recently cause like revising and relaxing and stuffs.

Meet The Vamps - The Vamps
1989 - Taylor Swift
Everyone One Direction song ever
5 Seconds of Summer - 5SOS
My Everything - Ariana Grande

Basically, my all time favourites have shone through in March. That being said I have listened to a lot of radio this month, sometimes the music on my iPod just doesn't cut it. BBC Radio 1 and Capital have been my most listened to radio stations.

March was exciting but also sad. I received 3 university offers from; Leeds, Leicester and Chester to do Media production and broadcasting. I just sent off my portfolio to Bucks and unfortunately I was declined from Manchester. Typically the one I wanted to go to the most, but hey they don't know what they're missing.

My film of the month has been One Direction: Where we are. It counts. We aren't going to be talking about Zayn Malik.

Now for the ascetically pleasing part; photos of the month.  Nothing has really happened this month cause I haven't been outside much. Exam season is quickly approaching. So there's only about 4 photos.

Nathan Sykes | Solo Tour 2015

Hey guys, so I've been busy "revising" and I was going to write a revision tips blog post but honestly, I don't have any and need help. A levels are hard.
Today, I have a blog post all about my trip too see Nathan Sykes. Well it wasn't a trip as such more of a car journey anyway.... lets get into it!

*Disclaimer: Iphone 4s photos. Sorry I'm getting a camera soon...hopefully*

So it just so happens that Nathan Sykes fell on Ellie's 18th birthday which seemed all too coincidental as we both love Nathan so we had to go. We saw him In Newcastle on the 6th of April and he was amazing.

As we got to the gig there was a bit of a wait before the support act so Ellie decided to buy her first legal drink. It will be me soon.

After waiting the support act Jerry Williams came on stage and Romy just had to shout "JERRY'S A GIRL" wonderful. Lets hope she didn't hear that one.
She was very good and being Newcastle and the best crowd in the UK (not bragging or anything) We were all clapping and attempting to sing along. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good she was, I purchased her EP "A hairdressers called Sids" best £2.49 i've spent. I'll leave a link to it and I have loved it so much. She's got a song called "stalker" and it's defiantly my favourite as it's about obsessing over boys and I'm not going to lie, I love Bradley Will Simpson a little too much.

After Jerry had finished myself and Ellie were in the gig mood (favourite of all my moods) so we were dancing to all the songs that they were playing such as Uptown Funk and other chart toppers at the moment and despite the bad looks we were getting from the girls in the crowd I was going to carry on singing and dancing as if no one was watching. I'd rather do that than stand still waiting cause that's boring.

I was very sceptical of seeing Nathan Sykes as I had seen him in The Wanted and Ellie and Romy LOVED The Wanted plus his new album hasn't been released yet so when he came on stage I wasn't expecting much, but holy hell. When his band came out and his 2 really cool backing singers came out I knew it was going to be amazing.

Immediately I had fell back in love with his sloth like face and incredible voice. You can tell he has poured his entire soul into his new album and his performance was incredible. We were jumping up and down screaming, dancing, and clapping the entire time. My favourite song he performed was called "Famous" I can't wait for his album to come out.

I'm sorry this post has been quite short I literally have no time at the moment, my next posts are most likely going to be gig related as I am coming up to "gig season" I am calling it. I love you lots.
Here's some photos/selfies

Omg as I was writing this Jerry Willams favourite'd my tweet #fangirling #followme
