Do you love music, YouTube and cute boys? Well if your
answer was yes then I have a little secret for you.
You may have seen in my previous post that whilst I was seeing The Vamps I bumped into the 3 amazing
boys from a new little band (well new to my life) ‘The Secrets’ and 11 days
later and I’m completely obsessed, so I decided to let you all in on the secret
(dat pun) because you NEED to be obsessed too.
If you like The Vamps
(Like me) you’ll LOVE these boys I promise! And if you don’t well... there was
no money back guarantee but you must be mad if you don’t.
Just like The Vamps these boys formed on YouTube, doing
covers of songs from artists such as; The Vamps, One Direction, Clean Bandit, 5
Seconds of Summer and many more! I’m not just saying this their covers are AMAZING! I really hope these boys go as far as The Vamps if not further.
So, who are The Secrets I hear you ask. Well... they are new
British band consisting of Luke, Josh and Lewis. So without further ado here is a little insight into The
Secrets band. There was a joke there that only a couple of people will understand
and if you do I salute you brother/sister depending on the gender really.
You have Josh Woodcock (if you laughed I’m judging you) who
looks like my friend cheeks which is kind of weird but anyway apart from that he’s
a singer songwriter and an amazing one. From the city of Birmingham who was so lovely, we
only had a brief conversation about denim jackets but I enjoyed it all the
same. Josh’s voice is incredible! Oh my there’s something about it that makes
it so good and I can’t quite put my finger on it so you’ll have to go check out
his personal YouTube (cheeky plug.. you’re welcome) When it comes to Josh’s
solo videos there no fancy editing, no music video just him standing with a mic
singing and that’s what I love. It’s about the music not the image.
How do I begin to talk about Lewis Brindle, his hair, his
voice, his guitar skills? I really like Lewis I think he’s cool, when I met him
he was making a weird noise which confused me but again I enjoyed it all the
same. Lewis’ voice has something different to it that really makes the band
work I don’t think it would have the same harmony it does without Lewis, the
only way I could describe it would be ‘raspy’ but I don’t really know what that
means.
Finally, Luke Gregory my bae. Luke was actually the first
member of The Secrets I spoke to and it was magical. I like Luke because you
can really tell he loves what he’s doing and I really like that. I don’t have a
lot to say about Luke because I love everything about him (cringe) Luke covers
a lot of artists from a lot of different genres which is nice I guess, if you like that sort of stuff.

I’m not quite sure why I’ve been so awkward throughout this but
hey ho. You NEED to go check out The Secrets because they’re great. Also they
have just released their debut single on Itunes which is SUPER exciting! Also
if you’re going to a Vamps gig keep an eye out you never know they might pop
up.
