Frankies 50th Celebration

Hello everyone long time no see...well long time no read/write I don’t know what I’m saying. Hello everyone sorry I haven’t posted in a couple of days I’ve been for a weekend away in a “quaint” little town near Durham (I say that but I have no idea if it’s anywhere near Durham) called Dufon for my “uncle” Frankie’s 50th Birthday Celebration. I say uncle but he’s one of them people who is my parents friends so I called him my uncle, there was a lot of my “aunties and uncles” there due to the fact their friendship group is large and full of people from around the country including 2 people from Scotland so they all gather as often as they can, which turns out to be not often at all.

Anyway let’s get into it! I’m just going to warn you this post will involve A LOT of photos!

It took about 2 hours to get there so naturally I just put my headphones in staring out the window pretending I’m in a music video. If you say you don’t do this I’m afraid young sir you’re lying.

Yes this is a "family car selfie" don't be jel be reem.

Once we arrived I was greeted with “Jess you’re SO grown up!” “I remember when you were this high” and “you probably don’t remember me but you used to sit on my kitchen bench and eat carrots” my reaction the same every time a really big smile planted on my face and a high pitched “oh my god yes, no I do remember you!”  Followed by shared laughter and then walking over to my mum to ask who they were. This went on for about a day, until finally I learnt... most people’s names and was comfortable enough to not be pretending I knew them because I’d actually gotten to know them. It’s a lot different being older and being around adults because, instead of treating you like children they actually want to sit and have a conversation with you rather than pretending to look happy when you pester them asking for something.

I am not joking when I tell you this cottage complex was amazing if there was better reception and WI-FI I could EASILY live there. I have always wanted a big kitchen with an island and I’ve always told myself when I am older I’m going to have my dream kitchen so I was not surprised that when I walked into the cottage the “teens” and my parents were staying in my first words were “This kitchen is a masterpiece” Yup I’m THAT person.

Heading upstairs there was 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a “lounge” me being me I got a room to myself and the other 4 teen peasants shared rooms (sorry friends) I really enjoyed having a room to myself means I could stay up until 2 in the morning reading and playing apps on my phone and not bothering anyone, I hate confrontation but I hate tired confrontation more. My room was quite spacious and oh my it got dark. I am 100% defiantly not a fan of the dark so when I first turned off my light ready to scramble into bed I got a shock. Pitch black. I freaked myself out because when I turned my light back on I didn’t recognise where I was but it was ok I survived.

The rest of this cottage was nice, decent bathroom, large lounge area with a DVD player where if I had Frozen on DVD I would have watched it and then just another decent sized bed room. As there was 5 “teens” I had my own room, Sophie and Molly shared the lounge and Charlie and JJ were in the other bedroom. It worked out well because the place was so large we didn’t feel cramped at all.

The first day consisted of myself being really awkward sitting by myself or following my mother around like a lost puppy and exploring the property, but after I got past the awkwardness It was quite fun everyone chatting and spending time together It wasn’t until the Campbell children William(11) Thomas(9) brought out Laptops, IPods’ and Ipads’ that the 4 teens (myself, Mollie, Charlie and Sophie) really started talking as a 4 laughing with the Campbell boys and mimicking old people by saying technology was ruining childhood. I’m not joking when I say I would have loved and Ipad/Laptop/Xbox at the age of 9 would have kept me entertained. I got really comfortable around molly and for most of the evening the 2nd night we were together sitting in a really cool dome sortof thing which was filled with seats, plants and fairy lights which was beautiful just talking.

My outfit on the first day was just for comfort really, since I get travel sick easily I really didn’t want to be sat in jeans so I wore Leggings, converse and I baggy top from Primark (£8) with minimal make up (foundation, eyebrows, mascara, liquid eyeliner)

The 2nd day was the exciting one! We decided to become country folk for the day and attend an agricultural show/event which was 5 minutes down the road and honestly I really enjoyed it as there was so much going on from vintage cars to cow competitions. We walked around that for a few hours watching a dog agility course, horse competitions and sheep dog trials. This was really fun but BY FAR the best part of the whole holiday was I MET A SHEEP! I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this before (note the sarcasm) but sheep are my favourite animals they’re just so cute and stupid. I love it so when I got to the Sheep competitions I couldn’t help but yelp with excitement there was sheep as far as the eye could see all waiting to be judged and honestly when I saw a sheep win a rosette I was filled with proud emotions. I was very over whelmed by the whole situation. I am really not an animal person, I just don’t like being around them I get very nervous hence, why I’m not fully embracing the sheep but trust me I was very excited.

On this day I again...wore leggings. Thing is I’m not even sorry, they’re comfy and go with anything. I wore a blue top on that I got last year from Dorothy Perkins and my walking boots #cool with a blue jacket from Matalan and a wind/water proof jacket. #PracticalChic My makeup was again very simple with just a bit of mascara, eyebrows and foundation. I don’t have anyone to impress farmers aren’t my thing.
Once we got back to the cottages we set up a gazebo ready for a BBQ which was very nice well as far as BBQ’S go but I was most excited for the roasting marshmallows part I like marshmallows’ so I enjoyed this bit very much.
For the BBQ I branched out from the leggings and wore my “boyfriend” jeans with the same top I travelled in and my converse just for a change and to show people I do have other clothes.

Dat Mirror shot tho
After the BBQ and socialising was over we all went to bed and the next day was just packing and saying goodbye really. I had a good weekend even thought I didn’t think I would.

Happy birthday Frankie.

Here are some photos!
Is it just me that thinks this looks like the doorknob from Alice In Wonderland?

The complex was filled with cute trinket things like this!

Hair Products

Hey gurls,
Today I’m going to do a “what’s in my bag” hair products addition.  My hair is quite long as it’s just about up to the top of my bum, I have been growing my hair for a long time and to keep it in good condition so that It grows I have been avoiding 3 things:
  •          Dying it
  •          Cutting it (other than a slight trim)
  •          Applying heat

These 3 things have been incredibly easy for me to avoid as I have never dyed my hair, I don’t want to go short (ever again the bob was a bad call) and I never go to the hairdressers because I find it awkward and uncomfortable and finally my hair is naturally curly and just does what I want it to so I don’t need to apply heat.
Starting off with the bag this bag is a “Leo Bancroft” bag which I got last Christmas I do believe and that came with a number of products, which I can’t remember but I still have 2 of them so I’ll talk about them later on. I like this bag because it’s a reasonable size so it fits everything in but can also be put out of the way easily.

In no particular order I’m going start with my shampoo and conditioners, I have two different shampoo and conditioners so I’m going to talk about both. My shampoo and conditioner I use on a regular day-to-day basis changes quite often depending on what’s on offer, how I feel at the time or what smells the best, but if I’m honest my all time favourite is “L’oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Shine” shampoo and conditioner this stuff smells amazing plus the bottles pink. What else do you want? A pink bottle, it smells good and leaves your hair silky soft until you next wash it that’s everything you could ever want.

The other shampoo and conditioner I love is by House of Holland (Henry Holland) I only use this for “special occasions” or when I’m feeling like I want to thoroughly clean my hair. This stuff is amazing because it really cleans your hair and removes ANY dirt! After I’ve used the shampoo my hair does feel dry like it’s taken out about 90% of my hair oils (which is why I only use it very occasionally) but then the conditioner adds so much back into it my hair never shins more I love it. I’ve had these for a long time maybe over a year because I use them so sparsely.

Because my hair is so long the ends tend to get very dry resulting in split ends and it doesn’t feel nice so to solve this issue I use 2 creams/serums’ one high street product and one higher end. The high street product is Herbal Essecences  “beautiful ends split ends protection cream for dry/dull ends” I use this one because it makes the ends softer but smells good too and I’m sure it’s around £6.50 which is a bargain since it does its job well and lasts a long time. In regards to the higher end product I actually bought this from the hair salon as my hairdresser recommended it to me, which in itself is a good sign. This is the “Joice K-Pak Colour Therapy Restorative Styling Oil” although I haven’t coloured my hair it works really well for damaged hair and again smells amazing. I use both of these on the bottoms of my every time I wash my hair when it’s still wet and I’ve just brushed it. What I love about hair serums is a little bit goes a long very way.

The next thing I have which I’m sure every girl has is Hairspray I just have cheap hairspray because I hardly ever use it. I only use it when my hair is up in a bun and I want it to stay there.

Another thing I have which I’m not sure which category it fits into is a Tony & Guy heat protection spray  I know I don’t use heat on my hair often but whenever I do I always protect my hair because I’m trying to grow it not damage it! Plus this one smells like hazelnuts which is always a positive.

Like I said before the “Leo Bancroft” bag came with some products and the only 2 I have left are the heat protection and the Sleeking serum. The reason I have these 2 left are because I never sleek my hair back into a pony tail or anything, so I haven’t needed to use this and I have my Tony & Guy heat protection so I’ve never really had a chance to try these products but they have received good reviews so I will get round to trying them eventually.

WOW what great quality
I cannot describe how good this hair mask smells oh my I don’t think there is words if I’m honest, I received this for my birthday and I am so grateful. It leaves my hair smelling amazing and so soft! I get really lazy especially with hair or face masks I just can’t ever be bothered to use them but when I can be bothered and use this It was definitely worth that extra 10% effort and 15 minutes of my life because my hair is so soft, smells amazing, and is super shiny and ah I want to go use it now! This hair mask says  "Argan Oil hydrating hair mask with Moroccan argan oil extract" I don't know what that means.

If anyone is a fan of lush they will have heard of the famous “Snow Fairy” well since its limited edition I stock up. I love this because it smells AMAZING and can be used as body wash, bath bubbles AND shampoo like does it get any better! #3in1 Since it’s only out at Christmas I have to ration my supplies and only use it when I am in the mood for it and want my hair to smell well like fairies.

Since I don’t dye my hair I get bored incredibly easily! So I use beads and threads to braid my hair. I absolutely love doing this It just makes my hair so much more exciting and it’s so fun to do I was thinking of doing a tutorial but I’m not 100% sure cause it might be hard to explain and I’m not making a video.

Note: I keep these in a red pot that previously had a House of Holland hair mask in, which was great and I used it all really quickly.

So that was the contents of my hair bag don’t know if you cared but if you did hope you enjoyed it!

This or That

This or that tag.
I thought I’d do a little beauty/fashion/life tag today this is an American tag so I’m going to miss out the questions  I don’t have the answers to so this isn’t the whole tag but if you want to do it the full tag is online, so erm Google it.
Makeup
Blush or bronzer?
I’m going to say bronzer because I have quite natural pink cheeks plus bronzer is really good for contouring your face and giving it a little bit of colour.
Lipgloss or Lipstick?
Definitely lipstick I have never been a lipgloss person I don’t like how it feels and my hair yets stuck to it.
Eyeliner or Mascara?
100% Mascara lashes and brows are the most important part of the face, lashes just make you look more awake.
Foundation or Concealer?
Well considering I don’t use concealer as I don’t have any, i’m going to say foundation.
Neutral or colour eyeshadow?
Neutral I have a strong fear of coloured eyeshadows I don’t understand them or agree with them so definitely neutrals.
Pressed or Loose eyeshadow?
I’ve never actually used like a loose pigment so I’m going to say pressed.
Brushes or sponges?
Even though sponges give a more natural look I only ever use brushes because I don’t like the smell or feel of makeup sponges.
Nails
O.P.I or China Glaze?
O.P.I don’t have a reason.
Long or short?
I have really short nails and I much prefer long nails apart from them come with difficulties e.g picking things up and texting but I do prefer the look of long nails.
Acrylic or Natural?
100% acrylic if I could I would have acrylic nails 24/7
Brights or darks?
I really like pastel nail colours but I do love a bright colour especially for summer.
Flower or no flower?
I’ve had a bow on my nails before on my ring finger but I would have to say no to a flower it’s just too much.
Body
Perfume or body spray/splash?
I would have to say perfume I just prefer the scents of a perfume however, body sprays are more convenient for school etc
Lotion or Body Butter?
I’d have to say body butter I think it absorbs much quicker and leaves my skin softer.
Body wash or soap?
Body wash! I think it comes in nicer scents and is a lot more foamy than soap.
Lush or Bath and Body works?
Since bath and body works is American and I have never tried it I’m going to have to say lush I do really love Lush products however, I really want to try some Bath and Body works products.
Fashion
Jeans or sweatpants?
Jeans if I’m going outside, sweatpants if I’m staying indoors.
Long sleeve or short?
I get really hot really easily so defiantly short sleeves.
Dresses or skirts?
Dresses, skirts don’t suit my body shape AT ALL.
Stripes or plaid?
Plaid.
Flip flops or sandals?
I have a serious hate for flip flops they’re just inconvenient and hurt my toes so sandals but without socks.
Scarves or hats?
I live for wearing scarves so 100% scarves!
Studs or dangly earrings?
Studs I just like they look cute and dangly earrings get stuck in my hair and are too heavy for my ears.
Necklaces or bracelets?
Although I love necklaces I cant go without wearing bracelets they just make my arms look better and I feel naked without them I tend to wear the same bracelets for a long period of time.
Heels or flats?
If I’m going to a party or a formal event or anywhere its socially acceptable to wear heels I 100% without a doubt will but if it’s just in general then defiantly flats normally converse or trainers.

My hair is naturally curly so curly.
Bun or ponytail?
I love a messy bun and ponytails so I couldn’t pick but It doesn’t matter because my head is too circle for it to be acceptable to wear either.

I have brown hair so dark.

Alton Towers

Hello everyone,

So yesterday was a very exciting day for me I went to Alton Towers (Theme Park) with my dad and brother JJ our family used to go there every year as our holiday however, this time my mother didn't come because she doesn't really enjoy rides like us 3 do so she decided to stay and paint our dining room. I know where I’d rather be.

It was an incredibly early morning for myself and my dad up and out at 4 AM, lucky for me I can sleep literally anywhere so I took my pillow off my bed and my smaller One Direction cushion and a big fluffy blanket and made camp across the back seats. We had a 4 hour journey ahead of us which included popping into Leeds to pick up JJ.

I don’t have any pictures of my outfits but for travelling down I wore my leggings and a hoodie for comfort reasons I didn’t really want to sleeping in my skinny jeans.

About 3 hours into the journey we stopped off at a service station (No idea where I woke up and we were there) we had a super healthy McDonald’s breakfast and I did my makeup and got changed into my Black Skinny Jeans and a white Pepsi Tee. I really liked this outfit for a theme park it's simple and comfortable. I saw people in dresses and wedges and I judged. Also if you take a handbag to a theme park I hate you. We didn't take any bags we just took what we needed which was my dad’s wallet. Honestly, I don’t think there’s anything worse than having the hassle of a bag at a place like this. Ok fair enough if you have kids or have brought a picnic etc but other than that I just don’t understand it.

Anyway, because we had bought tickets online we got the first hour before the general public however, we didn't get into the park until about 9:45 and the park opens at 10. As soon as we were in we headed straight for the Smiler (which is amazing we rode it 4 times over the course of the day) since we had the early hour we got into the smiler about 4 minutes earlier than everyone else and honestly it was a life saver! Those 4 minutes saved us 45 minutes of queing. We usually go single rider but we wanted to go on at least one thing all together as a fam.
Since we went single rider for basically everything (for those who don’t know what single rider is it’s basically you are willing to be split up and are used to fill in seats.) I mean why would you want to wait 2 hours for a ride you could wait 2 minutes for by sitting by someone you don’t know it’s not like you’re going to be talking to your family on the rides, plus we don’t buy the photos anyway we got on all the big rides at least twice.

I want to take a moment to talk about “Nemesis Subterra” I absolutely LOVE the Nemesis rollercoaster It may even be my favourite but oh my god did I hate Nemesis Subterra. The way I described it was “A modern version of Hex” and I hate Hex. Hex makes me cry. Since Nemesis Subterra is a ride where you don’t have a clue what’s going on I’m not going to tell anything but I really didn't like it. We literally had no idea of what it was going to be I thought it was going to be a simulator. it wasn't., it was very much real. Even though I knew it was a ride I couldn't help but panic. Beth will know what I’m like with rides like this because last year we went to Light Water Valley with her dad and her brother and we went on the Raptor ride which is in the pitch black and I cried and then continued to cry because I found the exit passageways so terrifying.

We left the park at about 4 and headed back to hotel which was about 40 minutes away where again I feel asleep. I told you I can just sleep. We were staying in a “Hotel motel Holiday Inn” – Pitbull and honestly it was a very nice room with comfy beds.

Being the healthy family we are and after having a McDonald's breakfast myself and my brother hit the gym and my dad went in the pool. I am not joking when I say it was the fanciest gym I have ever been to in my whole life. It had loads of “lifestyle” machines which wouldn't have been cheap. They had the comfiest seats and the simplest button system it was gym heaven. I have officially decided that when I’m rich I’m going to have a gym in my house exactly like this one.

After this we went back to the room and got ready to go and have our evening meal. I wore my pink playsuit which I wore on my birthday and to North East Live I love this playsuit because it’s so bright and it adds a pop of colour to my life. I felt adventurous with my eye makeup so I wore a pink style look with heavy winged eyeliner and I actually really liked it but only for this playsuit.

I had this nicest steak baguette my 2 favourite things steak and bread. It was delicious and I want it now.
After all this excitement we just went to the room and again slept.

We decided we weren’t going to head back to the park today for the 2nd day because my dad’s hip was hurting, JJ was tired and I just didn't feel well in general I got really dehydrated at Alton Towers and In the car as I didn’t want to drink so that I didn’t need to pee. #logic

So this morning we just all clambered into the car and headed home which due to traffic took 5hours 45mins instead of the 4 hours it took to get there but again I just slept and read (fanfics on Wattpad I’m not even sorry)

And now I’m home and myself and JJ are going to order a Chinese.

I had a really good time at Alton Towers as I knew I would so thank you to my parents for that little trip. Beth, Joanne and Teoh are all coming home today and tomorrow which is super exciting then Amy’s back Wednesday (I think) so hopefully we’ll be getting up to exciting adventures before school starts again in September.

Help Me I'm Poor

What is up everboddyyy so recently I have been torturing myself and been browsing online on websites such as feelunique.com and lovemakeup.co.uk and I have been lusting over so many products that I want and need in my life. I don’t know if it’s just me but I get really bored of my make up so easily and begin to hate it. I think it’s because I haven’t made up a collection that I am truly happy with yet I’m still in my “experimental stage” let’s just say that.

So today I am going to be doing a kind of makeup wish list kind of, I need these things please someone buy me them.

One of the main things which are literally essential that my collection is lacking is quality brushes my current foundation brush cost be about £2 I am a terrible human. I just cannot afford quality brushes my dream brushes that I honestly want more than anything are the Zoeva brushes although I would  be happy with any I REALLY want the rose gold sets I just think anything rose gold is absolutely stunning. However, since these are stupidly out of my price range I have been looking at brands such as real techniques I have been eyeing up these brushes for quite some time I actually asked for them for Christmas but instead I got a mini Ecotools “starter set” I guess which are ok however, out of a pack of 5 I only use one, two at a push. I just want some quality brushes that make my makeup look smooth and flawless and applying it a bit more appealing.

The 2nd things on my wish list are the 3 beautiful Naked Palettes! Oh my gosh. I never used to be an eye shadow person in fact I used to literally hate the stuff. I had a slight fear of it because I associated it with stupid colours like blue, but after I watched numerous (I couldn't even count how many) YouTube tutorials teaching me how to do it I instantly feel in love and I haven’t stopped wearing it since. However, I only stick to natural colours....mostly brown. I just don’t like to go too far out of my comfort zone it scares me.

Speaking of eye things I am really in need on an eye-primer I currently use my normal primer but I feel like it doesn't do anything. The specific one I've had my eye on (pardon the pun) is the Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer. This product has received amazing reviews and for only £15 it’s just positive after positive.
Another thing I really want is a foundation that is of good quality and matches my skin. I don’t have a specific one that I want however; I've heard brands such as Estee Lauder and YSL are really good for skin make up so probably one of them.

I’m not sure if it’s just me who constantly wants new makeup but I just want to try so many new products for example I’m not a big lipstick person but I really want to be I've heard good things about Mac and Kate Moss lipsticks and I just want to buy them all and try them. Help me I’m poor.

Seven Deadly Sins Of Makeup

I was tagged by my wonderful friend Beth (The Blonde Blogger) to do the Seven Deadly Sins Of Makeup Tag also Becca (Trinket Box) will be uploading one also so please go check there’s out and find out what their seven deadly sins are!
Without further of do this is my seven deadly sins of makeup tag. Also the items I have mentioned will have a link so you can check them out for yourself.

Greed: What’s your most expensive beauty item?
Unfortunately I don’t use expensive make up but I wish I did so my most expensive beauty Item is probably my “Fake Bake” fake tan which I purchased quite a while ago because I wanted a quality self tan however, after using it I realised I prefer the £2.99 "St Moriz" which is a good thing saves me some money.

Wrath: What item do you have a love/hate relationship with?
My Wake me Up foundation I love the concealer however, I have mixed feelings about the foundation because sometimes I like how it makes my skin looks but there’s some days where I hate what it looks like and end up going skin make up free.

Gluttony: What brand takes up most of your collection?
Even thought my favourite brand is Maxfactor at the moment I currently don’t own any of their products so the brand that takes up most of my collection is Rimmel as I have A Rimmel eyelinerand eyebrow pencil but also a Rimmel powder and foundation. I have written a post about my everyday make up bag which you can read here.

Sloth: What product do you neglect the most due to laziness?
Moisturiser. I don’t even moisturise my face never mind my whole body. I mean who can be bothered to moisturise their body never mind basically everyday! I know I should but I can’t ever be bothered.

Pride: What product gives you the most confidence?
My eyebrow pencil, I am a MASSIVE eyebrow person I can’t leave the house without my eyebrows filled in. My Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil is amazing it stays on no matter what!

Lust: Which item is top of your beauty wish list?
Zoeva Rose Gold Make up brushes they’re so beautiful I just want them in my life.

Envy: Which makeup product/look is great on others but not on you?
I really like smoky eye looks but I just can’t it off I just think for going out to parties (which I clearly attend on a regular basis) a smoky eye looks so good! I only wear brown eye shadows because I’m scared to try anything else to be honest.

Top Taylor Swift Songs

Hello everyone,

So last night was incredibly exciting for all the Swifties all across the world TAYLOR has released NEW MUSIC! We all need to calm down I am a massive Taylor fan myself and I have been for a long time she never fails to make me smile and her new song “Shake It Off” made me laugh, want to dance and sing and all around happier than I was before I heard and watched it. Taylor has released a new album called “1989” when her last album “RED” came out there was a lot of people saying it’s more of a Pop album than her previous older country style  so Taylor has done exactly that and made a pop album.

As I have been a fan of Taylor for a long time I am going to do a post talking about my favourite song from each album since this is her 5th album (if you don’t count her Speak Now Tour Live CD which is actually my favourite) This is absolutely incredible and it’s going to be so hard to pick my favourites! I have been lucky enough to see Taylor Live when she brought her RED tour to London’s O2 this February. Honestly it was AMAZING I can’t wait for a 1989 Tour.

Taylor’s debut album “Taylor Swift” was released on October 24th 2006 that’s 8 years ago! This album is beautiful as it’s mostly songs with her and her guitar apart from the likes of “Picture to Burn” which is great and there’s even some terrible acting at the begging too which we all love. My favourite song from this album is “Teardrops on my Guitar” I love this song because her voice sounds amazing you can really feel like emotion in her voice also the lyrics are meaningful and I’m guessing personal to her. I love listening to Taylor's really old music because her voice is so sweet and this is her “country sound”.

From Taylor's 2nd Album “Fearless” was released on November the 11th, 2008 and it’s another country style album with a lot of meaningful songs about boys really. This album has some of Taylor’s most famous songs such as “You Belong with Me” “Love story” and “Fearless” however, my favourite song from this album is “Fifteen” as it’s about being a teenager I can relate to the lyrics. Taylor performed this song when I saw her and it was beautiful it was just her and a guitar and it made me love the song even more.

Taylor's 3rd album Speak Now is actually my favourite album I really like her Speak Now Tour CD because you can hear the entire crowd and the happiness in her voice. My favourite song from the actual speak now CD is “The Story Of Us” I like this song as its really up beat and I enjoy singing and dancing too it (privately in my room where no one can hear)

However, from Taylor's Speak Now Tour CD my favourite song is “Long Live” this song is also on her Speak Now CD however, I much prefer the Live version because you can hear the crowd for example she sings “The crowds in the stands went wild” you hear the crowd scream and it makes you feel like you’re on stage with Taylor and it makes me emotional.

Finally choosing a favourite from Taylor’s most recent album RED was the hardest. Red was released on October 22nd, 2012 (I can’t believe its been 2 years) and I haven’t stopped listening to it since! You can really tell she has grown up and her voice has developed she is no longer the 18 year old girl crying over boys anymore. My favourite song from the album is “Begin Again” I picked this song because I really like the melody and the lyrics. I love the whole Red album to be honest it’s a really mature album with really meaningful lyrics.

Who knows what 1989 will bring but I am incredibly excited for it.

I realize not everyone is a Taylor Swift fan so I apologise if this post isn't for you.

Estée Lauder Review

Hello everyone,

Today I have a beauty post for you lovely people. My wonderful mother has allowed me to use her Estee Lauder makeup for the past couple of days as I have been lacking in supplies and I really wanted to try a higher make up brand as the only high end make up I own is my Mac eye shadow which I love. I understand that Estee Lauder might be out of people’s price range as it is my own however, it is defiantly quality make up that is worth the money if you’re looking for a more professional finish I have really enjoyed using their products. They’re definitely going to be on my Christmas list let’s just say that. I will leave a link for each product to the Estee Lauder official website where you can learn more and purchase any of the products.

The first thing I’m going to talk about is the “Day wear Multi-ProtectionAnti-Oxidant Sheer Tint Release Moisturizer” wow long name. I am naughty and don’t often moisturise my face *slaps wrist* but after using this for only a couple of days I am definitely  going to start. You simply apply in the morning after you’ve washed your face and before your make up. The beauty of this moisturiser is it goes on untinted but the tint appears as you blend it in. This is incredibly useful especially for going back to school or on days where you don’t want to wear foundation as you can simply apply a powder and you’re good to go. I also like this because it’s got SPF 15, for all skin types AND has anti-aging factors no one wants wrinkles, even at the age of 17 I want to prevent them for as long as possible and with this product working to diminish any signs of anti-aging it leaves your skin radiant and youthful. I really enjoy this product and so does my mother this is actually her 3rd bottle and pricing at £38 for 50ml it’s clearly worth it.

The 2nd product I used was the “Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara” I don’t know about you but I HATE putting on mascara it takes so long and I just don’t want to do it. Someone pay for me to get eyelash extensions PLEASE! For a mascara hater I really enjoyed this product it left my lashes looking full and not clumpy or flaky at all. Also it didn’t take about 100 layers to actually look like I’m wearing mascara and that my eyes are in fact open. The brush itself isn’t massively thick but its thick enough and it’s long so it catches almost all of my lashes at once making my job a hell of a lot easier. The consistency of the liquid is perfect it’s not thick but it’s not runny which means it dries quickly and doesn’t go everywhere when you blink. My mother said that she has had this specific “bottle” for about 4 months and it’s still going strong so it’s defiantly lasted because I know it’s an absolute NIGHTMARE when all your foundation, concealer, powder and blush all run out at the same time but it’s even worse when you have to buy another mascara as well so it’s always a bonus that it lasts a long time!

The 3rd thing I used was the “Double Wear Stay-In-Place Flawless Wear Concealer” Conceal don’t feel, don’t let it show. This concealer goes with the famous “Double Wear Foundation” which I actually haven’t tried however, Beth has and you can read all about it here The concealer itself is really good I was actually shocked at how good it was. I don’t have particularly bad skin, I don’t have acne or anything however, I do get spots and blemishes and this covers any imperfections very well. I have learnt from this that I don’t like how the word “concealer” is spelt. #irrelevantpoint

My final and favourite Estee Lauder product that I used was their “Pure ColourBlush” the one I used is in the colour “04 Exotic Pink” which I found out is one of the pinker colours. I really liked this product because it made my skin feel soft but also look healthy it made it appear like my cheeks have a natural glow when in fact they do not. The product itself is just beautiful all of Estee Lauders products smell like “real makeup” and this blush smells amazing and is 100% amazing! Highly recommend this!
